  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with ethical and insurance standards.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, play therapy, TF-CBT) tailored to developmental needs.
  • Collaborate closely with our speech, occupational, and physical therapy teams to provide integrated care.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents/caregivers, offering education and strategies for home and school support.
  • Coordinate care with schools, physicians, and other community partners as needed.
  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation in our electronic medical record system.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Florida LMHC license in good standing.
  • Experience working with pediatric clients (ages 3–18) in an outpatient setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, behavioral interventions, and family systems.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based care model.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Specialized training in trauma-informed care, play therapy, or behavioral interventions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
  • Compassionate, patient, and family-focused demeanor.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Flexible scheduling options (4-day work week available).
  • Multidisciplinary team collaboration and professional development opportunities.
