Gomer Hearing Center is seeking a full time Patient Care Coordinator.

We treat each patient uniquely by offering personalized hearing care that includes diagnostic evaluations, education, and rehabilitation tools to ensure the right hearing solutions are provided. The role of Patient Care Coordinator (PPC) is important as they are the face of Gomer Hearing Center. The PPC provides the first impression that people have when they call or walk into our offices. We strive to create a positive patient journey from the first point of contact.

Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

  • Answer calls
  • Greet patients in a welcoming environment
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Verify patient insurance coverage, and follow up on benefits/authorizations
  • Place outbound calls to new and former patients for building business and scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle patient complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of patient interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communications procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Clean, service, and minor hearing aid repairs (will provide training)
  • Communicate with referring physician offices
  • Effectively manage inventory
  • Be a team player
  • Flexibility to work at any Gomer Hearing location as required
  • Multitasking and time management are a must without ever sacrificing quality of the patient's experience

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Front office experience required; medical office preferred
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams) is required
  • Reliable transportation

Salary:

  • $15-$22 an hour depending on experience

· After 6 months of full-time employment, you will be eligible for:

o Paid Time Off
