Clinical Supervisor (LMSW)

Location: Long Island City, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all clinical services and ensuring compliance with Comunilife, HRA, HPD, and other regulatory guidelines. This includes supervision of case management teams, quality assurance of documentation and service delivery, development of programming, and maintenance of high standards of client care. This role reports to the Assistant Program Director (APD) and serves as acting manager in their absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of case managers, including assigning caseloads and conducting weekly supervisory meetings.
  • Conduct and oversee audits of client charts, service plans, and psycho-social assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to home visit policies, accurate documentation, and contract compliance.
  • Manage program statistics, monthly occupancy rates, client referrals, and group programming.
  • Oversee service delivery related to mental health, substance use, housing stability, and benefits navigation.
  • Address and resolve client complaints and escalated issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all required reports and documentation.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining safe, adequate housing for clients in collaboration with the APD.

Qualifications

  • Education: LMSW required (New York State license)
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in case management
  • Experience with HIV/AIDS-affected populations, mental health, and substance use
  • Preferred: Congregate housing experience and bilingual (Spanish)
  • Skills:
  • Familiarity with HRA Congregate Housing Program guidelines
  • Knowledge of psychosocial assessments, housing placements, and public benefit systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a 24/7 residential social service environment
