Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients in various settings. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of clients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients in one-on-one or group settings.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide education on behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and intake forms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and coordinate care.
- Offer training and support to staff members on best practices in behavioral health and special education.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and patient assessment tools.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation practices, and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving client outcomes. Must have DDD knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $89,308.09 - $107,553.82 per year
