Particle Technology Labs (PTL) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support both laboratory operations and administrative processes in a dynamic analytical testing environment. This on-site, in-person role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness of the lab, ensuring supplies are stocked, and documentation is properly managed. The Laboratory Technician will work with a wide range of sample types- including foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, metals, plastics, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Wash glassware and maintain cleanliness of the sink area.
Perform daily equipment checks (balances, water systems, ultrasonic baths).
Conduct weekly lab sanitation inspections and quarterly temperature mapping of refrigerators and freezers.
Assist with preparation of stock solutions as requested by chemists.
Manage sample retain storage, retrieval, and disposal.
Handle sample returns to clients as needed.
Monitor and reconcile lab supply and chemical inventory.
Receive and label lab water carboys and compressed gas cylinders.
Shop for lab supplies as needed (e.g., Jewel, Sam’s Club).
Support SRM (Standard Reference Material) inventory and reconciliation.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Multitasking, time management skills, and detail-oriented focus are a must
Demonstrates:

Ability to operate independently, with a desire to grow professionally and a commitment to quality
Ability to work across all functions/levels as part of a team
