A school district in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for an elementary school setting on a contract basis for the new school year. This role provides essential psychological services to support students academic, emotional, and behavioral development within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning needs and disabilities
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students facing emotional or behavioral challenges
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insights on student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines

Qualifications:

• Valid school psychologist certification or licensure as required by the state of Connecticut
