A K-12 school in Elgin, IL is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the school year. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to support students' academic, emotional, and social development within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12 to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights to promote optimal student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience conducting assessments and interventions in a K-12 school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral health.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
