Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support early childhood education from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. This role offers a flexible schedule of 3 to 5 days per week, serving students within a dedicated school district in San Rafael, CA. The contract term runs from August 20, 2025, through June 11, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling services tailored to the needs of TK-5 students
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support inclusive learning environments
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to address social-emotional and behavioral concerns
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning
  • Maintain compliance with district protocols and state regulations for school psychology services

Qualifications:

  • Valid PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential in School Psychology is required
  • Previous experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged populations preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and effective communication with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to work flexibly within a 3 to 5-day workweek schedule
  • Availability to participate in a Zoom interview panel as part of the hiring process
