An opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support early childhood education within a TK5th grade setting. This position offers a flexible schedule with options for 3, 4, or 5 days per week, ideal for professionals seeking contract work during the 20252026 school year.
Location: San Rafael, CA
Contract Duration: August 20, 2025 June 11, 2026
Caseload: Students in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade
License Requirement: PPS School Psychology credential
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to support student well-being
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide behavioral and academic strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district policies
Qualifications:
- Valid PPS School Psychology license
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary age groups (TK5th grade)
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple days per week based on school needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
