Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A school district in Waukegan, IL is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support their elementary school for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support to students facing academic or social challenges.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and develop prevention programs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license in Illinois.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures.

Location: Waukegan, Illinois (Elementary School Setting)
