Providing psychological services in a K-12 school setting requires specialized skills and dedication. This opportunity involves working onsite as a school psychologist during the traditional school year (NSY), from August 2025 through June 2026. The position is based in Oregon, serving students across the full K-12 range.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Providing counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
- Facilitating crisis intervention and guidance in accordance with school policies
- Contributing to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with legal requirements
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to promote academic and personal success
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings
- Strong understanding of special education law and psychological assessment tools
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural competency
