A K-12 school in Quincy, MA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contracted position for the upcoming school year. This role provides an opportunity to support students social, emotional, and educational development in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis support for students as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations
  • Assist in the development of positive behavioral support strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with school policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational systems and student development
  • Experience conducting assessments and providing counseling within school settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
