A K-12 school in Chicago, IL is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide support during a leave coverage period. This contract opportunity involves delivering psychological services to students, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Providing consultation to teachers, parents, and staff regarding student learning and behavioral concerns
- Developing and implementing intervention plans based on assessment data
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to individualized education program (IEP) development
- Assisting with crisis intervention and providing behavioral support as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment and data interpretation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, educators, and families
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
