We are seeking two compassionate Temporary College Mental Health Counselors for our Office of Student Counseling Services, each working an approximate 18 hour-per-week position. The clinicians will work collaboratively with the Director of Student Counseling Services, Student Health Services and Student Affairs to enhance on-campus student mental health and wellness services. Applicants should have a friendly demeanor, strong sense of humor, and passion for helping others!

Compensation: $24 - $35/h, commensurate with experience.

Duties: The clinician will assess and assist our students with mental health issue and provide counseling services to our students in a variety of formats. Additionally, the clinician will keep complete and accurate documentation of care delivered and arrange for students to receive further treatment by on or off campus resources. Must know and comply with all confidentiality requirements as set by HIPAA, FERPA, federal, state, and local regulations. Clinicians will also provide referrals, psychoeducation to students, and consultation to staff and faculty.


Requirements:
Must be an independently licensed counselor/therapist/social worker (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania, or able to obtain an independent license within 6 months, with at least two years’ clinical experience. Strong assessment skills, knowledge of therapeutic skills, a solid therapeutic orientation, and excellent decision-making skills are essential. Must have strong written and oral communication skills to enthusiastically promote mental and physical health and wellness.
