This job post is specific to our Farmingdale location for Bright Minds Learning Services is a NYS Licensed 4410 Special Education Preschool. Our goal is to provide quality preschool for all families in the community in a nurturing, loving, and developmentally appropriate educational environment. Candidate Must Possess:
- Minimum Education: Master’s Degree

- Support clinical-educational programming such as social-emotional learning and restorative justice
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and measurable outcome tracking
Candidate Must Possess:
- Minimum Education: Master’s Degree
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Social Worker

Salary: $55,000 – $72,000 per year
Openings: 6:1:2 and 8:1:2 Special Class (SC) classrooms
Essential Functions:
- Create a safe and healthy learning environment
- Develop/implement classroom lessons based on IEP goals and curriculum standards
- Write IEPs, quarterly reports, assessments
- Maintain classroom management and supervise Teacher Assistants
- Develop child-centered classroom displays
- Attend CPSE/CSE meetings, staff meetings, and Bright Minds events
- Maintain parent communication and provide training as needed
Candidate Must Possess:
- Certification: NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth–2nd Grade or Pre-K–12)
- Experience: Working with children ages 3–5
