  • LADC, ADC-T, or Dual Licensure
  • Be free from problematic substance use as defined by Integrations Wellness & Recovery Center, LLC’s policy, for a minimum of two years prior to hiring as indicated by signature on the Freedom From Problematic Substance Use form. Maintain freedom from problematic substance use in accordance with agency policy, including willingness to submit to random drug testing, throughout the duration of employment.
  • Know and understand the implications of chapter 245G, 245A, and sections 260E, 626.557, and 626.5572.
  • Licensed as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor or exempt from licensure under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 148F and meet one of the additional requirements in 245G, subd. 5, (b), (1-5)
  • Able to document competency in screening for and providing services to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use problems, through education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to communicate well with others.

Education and Training

  • Knowledge and experience working with Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Clients and Families.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with an emphasis in the chemical dependency field.
  • Must be free from substance use problems for a minimum of two (2) years prior to hiring as attested to by signing the “Freedom From Problematic Substance Use Attestation Form”.
  • Ability to pass a background check or obtain a set-aside through the Department of Human Services.

Preferred Requirement:

  • 30 hours of instruction or 1 three credit semester college course in adolescent development, and 150 hours of supervised experience as an adolescent counselor either as a student or as a staff member.

Alcohol & drug counselor positions are full-time exempt or part-time non-exempt positions providing clients personalized support to work through Substance Use Disorders, co-occurring and mental health developing a strong recovery plan in the following areas:

Intensive Outpatient Program Counselor - combines group therapy and individual counseling sessions

Residential Program Counselor - provide high intensity program for residential clients

Combination of Outpatient and Residential position.


Full-time positions are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Competitive Pay based on experience ($57,000 - $70,000)
