Job Title: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with a current ANSA Certification to provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals in need of support. The ideal candidate will have experience assessing, diagnosing, and creating treatment plans for clients with various mental health conditions, ensuring high-quality care that fosters positive outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments, client needs, and best practice protocols.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Utilize ANSA (Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment) to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with all relevant regulations and agency guidelines.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed, utilizing de-escalation techniques and assessing risk factors.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all client interactions.
- Stay updated on the latest mental health research and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's / Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
Licensure/Certification:
- Required: ANSA Certification (Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment).
- Active state licensure as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or equivalent.
Experience:
- Experience with client assessments, treatment planning, and case management.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
