This full-time contract opportunity is seeking experienced School Psychologists to serve K-12 students across multiple schools in Portsmouth, VA. Starting ASAP with an assignment through the current school year ending 5/29/2025, this position offers an engaging environment working with 2-3 schools and providing comprehensive psychological services to support student success.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting data, developing intervention plans, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting student mental health and well-being. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively across assigned schools.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Postgraduate Professional Certificate with an endorsement in School Psychology, or equivalent education and experience
- Some practical experience in a school psychology setting preferred
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) and coordinate efforts across multiple schools
