Overview
Seeking a licensed professional counselor (LPCC/LPC) to provide outpatient mental health services virtually to start. The plan is to eventually open a clinic in New Mexico and we would like to bring on an LPCC with supervisory privileges for an eventual team of associate licensed therapists that will require supervision. We would like a LPCC that is open to ramping up slowly with us, as this first hire is crucial as we need that individual to apply for our insurance contracts.
Cedar Health is a mental health company with headquarters in Arizona, that will be providing services to children as young as 5, adolescents between the ages of 11-17, adults 18+ (virtually), as well as peri/postpartum therapy. Cedar Health offers Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Individual/Family Therapy, and Peri/Postpartum Therapy.
Cedar Health is live and currently seeing patients. Therapists will help run the IOP program and also see patients individually.
Therapists will have an opportunity to grow with the organization as we continue to expand. We want therapists that want to be here long-term and help our organization become the standard for mental health in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
Responsibilities
Run a strong clinical program to begin establishing the level of care we provide as an organization. Our clinical brand is the most important aspect of this company, we want to have the very best care for families and their children. The responsibilities for this position include:
· Lead group therapy (CBT and DBT) sessions in the IOP program
· Provide individual therapy to adolescents in the IOP program
· Complete documentation after individual and group sessions
· Attend weekly treatment team meetings, weekly group supervision, weekly
individual therapy supervision.
· Attend clinical trainings (i.e. DBT, CBT, group therapy, mindfulness)
· Actively marketing the company in order to help drive patient volume
Qualifications
· Licensed Professional Counselor required in the state of New Mexico. Preference to those with supervisor privileges or are independently interested in getting the certification needed.
· Experience working with pre-adolescents, adolescents, and their families
· Significant experience providing therapy using CBT and DBT is preferred.
· Experience providing group therapy (with a CBT and DBT focus) to adolescents
· Experience administering services through telehealth is strongly desired
· Strong abilities in risk assessment and intervention
· Strong documentation and time management skills
· Interest and desire to work cross-collaboratively with psychiatrists, teachers, etc
· Can see patients in-person in Tucson, AZ and telehealth as well for the broader Arizona community
Compensation
Therapists will be paid a range of $50-$65 per hour as an independent contractor to start, with the plan to become W2 once 10 patient hours are achieved weekly.
