A school district in Helena, MT, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential psychological services that foster students academic, social, and emotional growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies accordingly.
Desired qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Montana.
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
