A full-time School Social Worker is needed for a K-12 school setting in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This contract position spans the entire school year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and their families within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive social work services to students, including individual and group counseling.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Connect students and families to community resources and external support services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) license required.
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and ethical standards in school social work.
