$7,500 Sign-On Bonus!
Shift: Monday-Friday; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Robert Young Center (RYC) for Clinical Mental Health Outpatient Services, this individual will provide mental health assessments, therapeutic intervention, and consultation to individuals that are served by the agency. This individual will be responsible for intake assessments, creating treatment plans and identifying treatment modalities, reviewing and updating the plan of care per state and accreditation guidelines, and may complete crisis evaluations as needed. This individual will carry a caseload made up of individual therapy clients and may include family therapy at times.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs diagnostic assessments, collecting diagnostic information, determining immediate treatment plans for patients. Requests medical consultation, where indicated, in a diligent and timely manner.
  • Provides direct, intensive psychiatric therapy to individuals, families and/or groups identified as having psychiatric disorders.
  • Coordinates with Crisis Services for clients presenting that may be a danger to self or others.
  • Maintains records according RYC and accreditation standards MRO, CARF, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurances.
  • Acts as a liaison and resource between the community and patient needs; coordinates treatment goals with community agencies, primary care physicians, court system, and managed-care entities. Develops RYC treatment plan and monitor, its completion and revision
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or a related field.
License(s)/Certification(s):
  • Valid Driver’s License
Experience:
  • Completion of appropriate internship and/or practicum program for Master’s level degree.
  • Previous experience providing individual, family and group therapy to children, adolescents, adults and caregivers/guardians is preferred.
