Seeking a full-time Social Worker to support the wellbeing of elementary students in an in-person school setting located in Sycamore, IL. This contracted position covers the current school year (CSY) and focuses on providing essential social work services within the elementary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an elementary caseload, providing direct support to students and their families
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and coordinate with teachers and staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
• Collaborate with school personnel and external agencies to ensure students receive comprehensive services and support
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Social Work required
• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and collaborate with school staff
• Ability to work exclusively in-person to provide hands-on support in the school environment
• Commitment to student-centered practices that promote positive academic and social outcomes
