About Job

Advancing Care for First Responders: Treatment • Research • Education • Innovation

We currently have an opening for a Licensed Psychologist or Post Doc Psychological Associate who will provide advanced psychological treatments as part of our First Responder PTSD Intensive Outpatient Program [IOP].

We are a leading transdisciplinary center that provides high quality care to people who have suffered an injury at work. We specialize in treating Posttraumatic Stress, Chronic Pain disorders, Brain Injuries, and Sleep problems. Our team is passionate about helping our patients within our creative and clinically rich environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma focused interventions in our First Responder PTSD IOP using CPT, PE and EMDR [expert training is provided if not proficient in these modalities].
  • Participate in community exposure experiences with our First Responders as part of our trauma recovery program.
  • Be part of our IOH weekly team meetings/case consultations.
  • Participate in world renowned training.

Required Qualifications:

  • For licensed psychologists, you must have a Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and your licensure must be current and unrestricted in the State of California
  • For post doc psychological associates, you must be eligible to be registered with the Board of Psychology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior First Responder or Military/Veteran
  • Experience working with any of the following areas: First Responder Culture, Military/Veterans, PTSD, Chronic Pain, Brain Injuries
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Flexible with intermediate technological skills

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
