2025 - 2026 School Year

The position of the Psychologist is to assess special education students needing educationally related mental health services as well as continue to provide mental health services to students with disabilities who would have been previously served under AB 3632. The evaluation is to determine eligibility and their appropriate level of mental health support. The services, if applicable, will be written into the student’s IEP indicating the specific delivery of services and related mental health goals and objectives.

This position will act as a liaison between school staff and the Director of Special Education. Persons will offer consultation and expertise to staff, students, parents, and community resource personnel to ensure compliance and make the learning process more effective.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Educational Psychology or related field.
  • Possess a valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) with authorization in School Psychology.
  • Experience in crisis prevention and intervention is required.

Position Details:

  • W2 Employment
  • Get paid for direct and in direct time
  • Full-time and part-time roles available
  • Hybrid possible in some locations (onsite preferred)

Pay & Perks:

  • $85+ an hour
  • Salaried option: Based on 180 school days / 7.5-8 hours per day

Stipends:

  • $300 for licensure/certification
  • $200 for materials or CEUs
