  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and patient goals.
  • Provide clinical counseling and behavioral therapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Support patients in navigating healthcare systems and accessing necessary community resources.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical and behavioral health professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care.
  • Manage a clinical caseload effectively, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and agency regulations.
  • Stay current on developments in mental health treatment and psychopharmacology, and integrate this knowledge into practice.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Active and unrestricted LMHP license in Virginia (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHP).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental/behavioral health services, including crisis intervention (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and clinical best practices.
  • Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
