Role Summary
As a School Psychologist, you will provide a full range of psychological services to students ages 5 to 21. You will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and collaborate with educators and administrators to develop and implement strategies that support student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Contribute to IEP planning and educational decision-making
- Maintain clear and professional documentation of evaluations and services
- Offer consultation and guidance to promote positive student outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Degree in School Psychology
- Certification or eligibility for certification by Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)
- Maryland license or license-eligible
- Excellent assessment, counseling, and written communication skills
- Comfortable with collaboration and consultation within multidisciplinary school teams
