Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Specialty experience preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing teams of specialty sales representatives.
  • Proven high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and government requirements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Ability to adapt and remain effective in an innovative work environment.
  • Experience in small companies and start-up environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.


Education & Experience

  • Track record of high sales and leadership performance.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet credentialing requirements for healthcare and governmental entities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and business skills.
  • Residence near major airport in the district.
  • Flexible and effective in dynamic environments.
  • Experience with startups and small companies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
