A K-12 school in Far Rockaway, NY, is seeking experienced School Psychologists for a contract position through the next school year. This opportunity involves providing psychological services to students across all grade levels, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group psychological assessments for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
- Provide counseling and support services to address student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
- Clear communication and organizational skills
