Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced LCSW Social Worker for a Director level opportunity with an Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program in Manhattan, NY. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience within Substance Use Disorder treatment and recovery services as well as 3+ years experience within a Supervisory role, overseeing other Social Work clinicians.

LCSW Clinical Director - Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program

The LCSW Clinical Director is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall clinical operations and compliance of the Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program. The LCSW Clinical Director will oversee the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based SUD treatment services, ensuring compliance with Article 32 regulations, OMH and Medicaid standards, and agency policies. The LCSW Clinical Director will provide clinical supervision, manage staff, foster program development, and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote effective and integrated care.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee clinical operations, including intake, review meetings, transfers, discharge planning, documentation, and record keeping.

  • Ensure the use of evidence-based practices and provide crisis counseling and case consultation.

  • Ensure compliance with Article 32 regulations and OMH standards.

  • Provide clinical supervision, including for LCSW licensure.

  • Organize supervision for staff.

  • Develop and implement staff training.

  • Conduct performance evaluations.

  • Develop and monitor Program improvement plans, assist with program expansion.

  • Lead social services delivery.

  • Participate in intake and delivery of services

  • Collaborate with leadership.

  • Facilitate clinical team meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, including Article 32.

  • Maintain accurate records.

  • Monitor KPIs and prepare reports.

  • Maintain relationships with referral sources and community resources.

  • Network to facilitate integrated care.

  • Participate in collaborative efforts.

  • Collaborate on budget development and management.

  • Monitor expenditures.

  • Manage hiring policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work is required

  • LCSW - Active License in New York State, in good standing

  • 5 years of prior clinical work experience in the Substance Use Disorder setting, at least 3 years of which must be in a supervisory capacity. Article 32 SUD Clinic experience, required

  • Must be cleared and maintain background check clearance with all Regulatory and Governing Bodies

  • Knowledge of OASAS Reporting Systems

  • Must be reliable and able to work independently and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality

Competitive Salary $125,000 - $175,000, Plus Generous Benefits Package!

Salary based on years of exact experience at a Director level
