A middle school is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services during the upcoming school year. This contract position is ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting students academic, emotional, and social development through assessment, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid school psychologist credential or license
  • Experience working with middle school-aged students
  • Strong knowledge of educational and psychological assessment techniques
  • Ability to conduct individual and group counseling sessions

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for special services

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Support crisis intervention and behavior management assistance when needed
  • Deliver training and consultation to staff on mental health and learning strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations
