Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist is needed for a middle school located in Fremont, CA. This position is a contract role for the entire school year (NSY).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
- Participate in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention activities
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly
Qualifications:
- Valid credential or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with middle school students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain detailed records
