A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school setting serving students in grades K-5. This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 22, 2026, providing 40 hours per week of meaningful work supporting student success. Located in Lawrence, KS, this opportunity involves comprehensive duties including psychological evaluations, testing, implementation of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), and collaboration with Special Education teachers. Special focus will be given to providing support for the center-based classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and testing in compliance with state guidelines
- Implement MTSS strategies to address student learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate closely with Special Education staff to support differentiated instruction
- Provide consultative services and direct support in the center-based classroom setting
- Develop reports and recommendations based on assessment data
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist Certificate is required
- Experience working within elementary school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
