A position is available for a School Psychologist to provide support within an elementary school setting. This contract role is for the upcoming school year, primarily focusing on re-evaluations and offering psychological services to students, including some out-of-district caseload management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological re-evaluations for elementary school students.
- Support students through assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration with educators and families.
- Manage a caseload that includes in-district and out-of-district students.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding student needs.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with elementary school populations.
- Skilled in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple caseloads effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and external services.
