Overview
The School Counselor plays a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within the school environment. This position involves working closely with students, parents, and faculty to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere conducive to learning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education and counseling, demonstrating a commitment to fostering student growth and well-being.
Duties
- Assist with transportation with picking up students from local elementary schools and shuttling them back to facility.
- Provide assistance and guidance with students during homework time
- May assist or lead our after school classes centered around art/arts and crafts
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance
Skills
Candidates should possess a diverse skill set that includes:
- First aid and CPR certification to ensure student safety.
- Teaching experience preferred, not required.
- A background in childcare or daycare settings that demonstrates experience with children preferred
Qualification
- Must be able to pass a level background check
- Must have a clean driving record
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
