Overview
Parchment High School is a dynamic and diverse educational community committed to academic excellence, equity, and student growth. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled High School Counselor to join our student support team. The ideal candidate will support students’ academic achievement, personal development, and post-secondary success through a comprehensive, student-centered counseling program.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in School Counseling or related field
- Valid Michigan NT endorsement or School Counselor License
- At least 3–5 years of successful teaching experience preferred
- Completion of state-mandated criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high school setting
- Working knowledge of the Michigan Career Development Model
- Familiarity with CollegeBoard, XELLO and other student data and planning platforms
- Strong understanding of testing coordination (M-STEP, PSAT, SAT)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception and peripheral vision.
