Overview
The Medical Director will serve as the clinical leader at our newest location. This position is ideal for a licensed PMHNP, Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong foundation in clinical psychiatry and leadership.
Our Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing all clinical functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising clinical staff, managing interventional psychiatry programs, and collaborating with executive leadership to develop long-term strategies for growth and service excellence.
Responsibilities
Clinical and Operational Leadership
- Deliver direct psychiatric care during initial phases to support patient access and ensure continuity of service.
- Serve as the lead clinical expert for advanced psychiatric interventions.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish clinical workflows and ensure efficient and patient-centered care delivery across all service lines.
Team Management and Development
- Recruit, train, and supervise advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals.
- Provide mentorship, clinical supervision, and performance evaluations for clinical team members.
- Promote a culture of excellence, empathy, integrity, and professional growth.
Strategic Growth and Program Expansion
- Partner with the executive team to expand clinical offerings in alignment with company goals.
- Lead initiatives to integrate new treatment modalities and technologies into clinical practice.
- Foster relationships with referring providers, health systems, and local partners.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Monitor clinical documentation, treatment outcomes, and satisfaction metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including DEA, HIPAA, and CMS guidelines.
- Oversee medication protocols, patient safety practices, and emergency preparedness.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active and unrestricted license in Washington State as a PMHNP, PA, or MD.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical psychiatric experience, preferably in outpatient settings.
- Strong leadership skills and prior experience in team supervision or clinical operations.
- Willingness to actively provide direct patient care while launching clinic operations.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with interventional psychiatric treatments such as Spravato® or TMS.
- Background in program development, quality improvement, or clinic start-up environments.
- Understanding of healthcare operations, payer systems, and clinic growth models.
