- Ability to follow rather complex written or verbal instructions without supervision.
- Office and computer experience
- Register new students.
- Verify completion of new student applications.
- Compile/update scholarship folders.
- Receive visitors and telephone calls; screen those which can be handled without the supervisor’s help.
- Maintain student information files and assist teachers with required information.
- Assist with absentee reports and hand filing for such.
- Keep counselors’ calendar and schedule appointments.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal); maintain emotional control under stress; interpret policy, procedures, and data; coordinate district functions.Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Frequent prolonged and irregular hours; Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; steady phone interactions; moderate standing, walking, and bending.
