Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the initial assessment and intake process for residents seeking services in our Recovery Home setting. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality. The Intake Coordinator will work closely with residents and other professionals to ensure a smooth transition into our programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with clinical team and support teams, assessing resident eligibility, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring a smooth, respectful intake process.
  • Conduct initial assessments and screenings.
  • Schedule and coordinate admission appointments.
  • Collect and maintain accurate and confidential resident records.
  • Communicate with referral sources and community partners as needed.
  • Monitor intake tracking system and maintain a waitlist communication.
  • Assist with orientation for new residents and ensure a welcoming environment.

Skills

  • Proficient in behavior management techniques to support resident needs
  • First aid certification is highly desirable for handling emergencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with residents and staff.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
  • Familiarity with addiction counseling practices is beneficial.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
