Overview:
Cabarrus County Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide supervision and support for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and collaborate with school staff to support students with behavioral needs. This is a flexible, contract-based opportunity ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision to 1–2 RBTs in accordance with BACB requirements (combination of in-person and virtual)
  • Collaborate with school staff to support implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Provide consultation and professional development (PD) to staff on topics such as data collection, progress monitoring, and behavioral interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed to provide input on student behavior goals and supports
  • Support data analysis and interpretation to inform instructional and behavioral strategies
  • Maintain documentation and communication in compliance with ethical and professional standards

Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Experience supervising RBTs and working in educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Estimated Hours:

Up to 60 hours/month; Hours may vary based on student needs and assignments
