As a Behavior Analyst, you will work directly with patients throughout the Center for Autism. From intakes and assessments to development and implementation of support plans, you will play an active role in ensuring each person feels valued, supported and understood. A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Participate in intake process for outpatients, conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop and monitor treatment plan/goals, and generate and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Initiate and complete functional behavioral assessments, develop behavioral treatment plans, monitor progress on plans, and make modifications as needed.
- Participate in new and ongoing staff training, conduct BCBA and RBT supervision, train staff/parents on goals and plans, and conduct ongoing fidelity checks
- Lead community workshops and present at local conferences as needed.
- Communicate with parents, educators, insurance companies and other professionals regarding progress and submit required documentation.
- Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) within 2 months of hire
- 3 years of experience working with autistic individuals utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- 3 years of experience working with varying ages and ability levels, conducting behavioral assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and training parents and staff
Physical Requirements:
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting students, manual and finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination and physically able to manage students of varying weight and sizes.
- Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing.
- May be exposed to communicable diseases.
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
