ChristianaCare's Project Recovery looking to hire a Full Time Behavioral Health Therapist to support our diverse patient population.

The Behavioral Health Therapist will provide office based clinical assessment and mental health therapy services for a diverse caseload of patients.

Work Schedule:

• Monday- Friday: 8am- 4:30pm.

• Opportunity to work a hybrid schedule available; remote schedule is ad hoc per department needs and subject to change.

• No weekends/ holidays

Whether a position can be supported for remote work will be assessed based on whether ChristianaCare is able to meet the business requirements of the proposed remote location. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts individual psychotherapy with assigned patients and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.

• Conducts psychosocial evaluations to provide diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.

• Develops coordinated treatment plan in collaboration with other members of the treatment team.

• Reports and updates pertinent patient information to physician and treatment team in a timely manner.

• Tracks referrals of patients requesting services.

• Completes clinical documentation in a concise, accurate, and timely manner with proper use of technology.

• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or doctor’s degree which qualifies in their state for licensure or certification is required

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or LCSW preferred

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) and Mental Health Counselors (MHCs) with at least 2 years or 3,000 hours of postmaster’s degree clinically supervised experience required and must be licensed in order to bill independently.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mental health setting preferred
