Bilingual Part-Time Behavior Technician - Wharton, NJ
Setting: In Home
Hours: Part Time (Afternoon Hours)
Pay Range: $24 to $32 per hour
Position Overview
Flywheel Centers is currently hiring bilingual Behavior Technicians to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in the Wharton, NJ area. This is a part-time role with afternoon availability required. Candidates must be fluent in both English and another language commonly spoken in the community, such as Spanish.
As a Behavior Technician, you will follow a treatment plan developed by a supervising Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will work directly with children to help reduce behaviors that interfere with daily life and support skill-building in communication, social interaction, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in the child's home
Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA
Accurately record data during each session and report progress
Participate in ongoing supervision and clinical support
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members in both English and a second language
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Access to reliable transportation
Bilingual fluency in English and one additional language (e.g., Spanish)
ABA experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and time management skills
