Are you passionate about helping people through their toughest moments? At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re looking for a Mobile Crisis Coordinator (Licensed / Licensed-Eligible) to join our dedicated Community Regional Crisis Response (CR2) team in Northern Virginia. You’ll respond to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises, meeting them where they are — literally — and helping guide them toward stabilization and support.

$2,500 sign-on and retention bonus*

Schedule:

(3) 12 hour shifts and (1) 4 hour shift: Sunday - Wednesday

(3) 12 hour shifts and (1) 4 hour shift: Wednesday - Saturday

What You’ll Do

The Mobile Crisis Coordinator (MCC) provides immediate, mobile crisis intervention for individuals experiencing mental health crises. This response includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering intensive counseling to stabilize the client and reduce hospitalization risk. The MCC also leads meetings to engage support networks, creates service plans tailored to client needs, and works within a multidisciplinary team for coordinating care. Additionally, this position requires maintaining accurate, detailed documentation of all client interactions. This position includes community travel to the following counties and cities: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William. (Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the mentioned areas).

What We’re Looking For

To join our team, you must be willing to provide community-based, crisis intervention, and stabilization services for those experiencing a behavioral health crisis, have a valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.

We also require the following:

  • Master's degree in health, psychology or social work preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field (as defined by DBHDS) required

  • Must hold QMHP certification or be eligible to obtain QMHP-T status within 30 days of hire
  • 1 year experience with mental health populations
