Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Abuse Counselor located in New Castle, DE. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing case management services, assisting individuals with chemical dependency issues, and offering relapse prevention support. The counselor will also work closely with individuals to address mental health concerns, promoting overall health and well-being.


Qualifications

  • Skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management
  • Expertise in Chemical Dependency and Relapse Prevention
  • Experience in addressing Mental Health issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Certification or licensure as a Substance Abuse Counselor or related field is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field is preferred
