We're seeking a dedicated and innovative Counselor Supervisor to lead our team of dynamic professionals. As a Counselor Supervisor at BayMark Health Services, you'll be at the forefront of modern treatment practices, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and procedures while delivering a holistic approach to patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Empowerment Through Leadership: Lead a team of counselors and counselor interns, fostering growth through meetings, in-service training, guest speakers, and literature reviews, empowering them to deliver outstanding care.
- Elevate Performance: Facilitate performance improvement discussions, maintain meticulous documentation, and provide unwavering support for professional development.
- Patient-Centric Oversight: Lead pre-admission decisions, conduct comprehensive case reviews, and oversee counseling meetings, ensuring services are aligned with our policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Guardianship: Conduct comprehensive quality assurance file reviews to uphold accurate and up-to-date clinical records, in compliance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinics.
- Caseload Mastery: Assign and fine-tune counselors' caseloads as needed, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
- Eligibility and Intake Excellence: Screen potential patients, assess eligibility, supervise intake operations, and review intake assessments for top-notch quality.
- Building the Team: Participate in interviews for open positions and contribute to new hire training to build a strong and dedicated team.
- Counseling Opportunities: You may also have the opportunity to counsel a caseload of patients, adding a personal touch to their recovery journey.
- Guidance and Support: Offer guidance and support to counselors striving for licensure and/or certification.
- Training Leadership: Oversee counselor-related annual training and ensure that all training requirements are met with excellence.
- Performance Enhancement: Facilitate employee performance discussions and evaluations to drive continuous improvement and personal growth.
- Effective Communication: Act as a bridge for clinic, employee, and patient concerns, ensuring open and transparent communication with employees and leadership.
- Active Participation: Attend staff meetings and contribute to program development activities, shaping the future of our services.
- Adherence to Excellence: Uphold a code of conduct aligned with BayMark Services' policy and ethos.
- Service Excellence: Strive to meet or exceed the delivery of Company Service Standards consistently.
- Additional Responsibilities: Be prepared to undertake any other related duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
- Required: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
- Supervisory Experience: Prior supervisory experience is essential.
- Compassion and Understanding: Demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude towards our patient population.
- Screening: Successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Salary Range:
Salary ranges from $58,000 to $64,000 annualized.
The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty, and training.
