From components to fully integrated equipment, we provide purpose-built solutions that integrate seamlessly into larger facility design-build, expansion, and retrofit projects.


The Specialty Equipment segment includes Anderson Dahlen, located in Ramsey, MN and Waconia, MN, and AD Process Equipment, located in Naperville, IL. Anderson Dahlen specializes in stainless steel and specialty alloy fabrication and is ISO 9001:2015 certified, as well as ASME, AWS, and PED compliant. AD Process Equipment features a dedicated control panel fabrication shop, in-house engineering capabilities, and manufacturing space to support customized process system solutions.


The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $21 to $27 hourly.

Requirements:


PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

The Material handler coordinates and participates in the daily work of the material coordinators in the inventory warehouse including picking of parts for jobs and work orders, unloading incoming material from trucks, organizing the inventory in the warehouse per the company's ISO 9000 quality system, and is responsible for the accuracy of the on-hand inventory data.


MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials where needed and staging the finished product at final destination.
  • Contributes to orderly operation of stock and or materials storage area.
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials in stock, recording location of inventory and reporting shortages to Warehouse supervisor.
  • Completing cycle count sheet provided by W.S to maintain on hand accuracy.
  • Operates forklift, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other machinery to move inventory around the warehouse and incoming trucks.
  • Keeps inventory, loading areas and machinery clean.
  • Liaison and support the laser, saw and waterjet departments to ensure proper material is on hand for the day.
  • Confers and advises departments and project personnel on inventory or inventory management related issues.
  • Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:

  • 6 months to 1 year of previous experience in a warehouse setting fulfilling shipping and receiving duties and responsibilities preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of Material Handler equipment.
  • Organizational Skills
  • Ability to read and analyze information.
  • Knowledge of inventory control.
  • Must be US person or PRC holder due to access to products and technology controlled under the ITAR.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The company fosters a manufacturing type environment. Moderately heavy work requiring the occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or less. In the performance of essential duties, the incumbent may be required to operate a variety of industrial machining tools.
