We are seeking a credentialed therapist in Mental Health and AOD treatment to work in a CARF accredited and OHMAS certified outpatient treatment. We are a family-owned organization with a passion for helping those in our community to maximize their quality of life. Our growing company has locations conveniently located on the northern side of Columbus, Grove City, Circleville, and Tiffin, OH. We have blended care, with treatment both on site and virtual. Despite the different locations, we prioritize communication between all staff at all locations to ensure best care for all those we serve and to maintain the culture that is loved about Highlife.

Experience in Mental Health and AOD treatment preferred, but we will train if not. This is a full-time position. The counselor will be a part of a team that is performing assessments, creating treatment plans, communicating with the care team, facilitating groups, individual sessions, and other opportunities to grow with this position.

Qualifications:

Must have valid and active License with State of Ohio (LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, MSW-LSW, LISW, or LISW-S)

Knowledge Of:

Current evidence based treatment standards in behavioral health

Comfort with diagnosing mental health disorders and DSM-5 familiarity (willing to train)

Skill In:

Client assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders

Individual and group counseling and use of program curriculum

Written and interpersonal communication

Ability To:

Work cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team

Assist in development of new programs, curriculum, and assist with implementation

Work with diverse populations with cultural competency

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
