Available Schedules: (M-F 2:00-5:30), (M,W,F 2:00-5:30), (Tu,Th 2:00-5:30) Scheduled arrival can be between 2:00-2:20. Some early dismissal days, scheduled arrival is between 11:30 and 11:50

6. Flexible scheduling to meet your college schedule. We prefer 3-Days or 5-Days but just ask if you have a special circumstance!

7. High School students can apply but must be able to arrive no later than 3:00

8. Retired persons can apply

9. We provide care for kiddos ages 3 years - 5th grades

10. We operate at LOWER ratios than state requirements (PreK 1 to 12, Kinder 1 to 14, 1st & older 1 to 15)

11. You must be able to remain off your phone and enjoy the students

The Afterschool Care Counselor supports a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students during afterschool hours. This role includes supervising children, leading activities, promoting positive behavior, and maintaining a structured daily routine.

• Supervise children to ensure safety at all times
• Lead activities: arts & crafts, games, homework help, and outdoor play
• Encourage positive behavior and social skills
• Communicate effectively with students and team members
• Maintain daily attendance and incident reports
• Keep program areas_ clean_ and organized
• Follow all program policies and emergency procedures
• Report concerns or incidents to site coordinator/director

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Friendly, dependable, and patient
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must pass background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 per week

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• After school
• Monday to Friday
