Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and psychotherapy. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, has experience in adult mental health, and demonstrates strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify psychological conditions and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with ethical standards.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult clients.
- Provide individual psychotherapy and mental health counseling using evidence-based modalities.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and make appropriate clinical recommendations.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Active and Valid state licensure as a Psychologist
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (required)
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and psychotherapy techniques.
- Experience working with adult populations (18+), including individuals with disabilities, mental illness, or complex psychological needs.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and the ability to implement effective treatment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field of psychology.
Compensation & Schedule
- Flexible schedule based on caseload and client availability.
- Compensation is per client session (rate discussed during interview).
